Visconti Bright Loft

Once an artist’s studio, this first floor apartment has amazing views from its almost floor-to-ceiling window, looking over to Pincio Hill and the Villa Borghese gardens. It’s a splendid space, with a double height sitting room, with the original terracotta floor. A golden metallic artwork of a tree was brought back by the designer from France. Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor, with a double bedroom on the mezzanine. The bed has an antique 1800s headboard, a beautifully Baroque touch amid the otherwise restrained and chic design. There’s a small kitchen decorated in black and white tiling and hung with several clocks; it’s well-appointed with a microwave, cooker and fridge. The downstairs room has a double sofabed, and there’s an ensuite bathroom upstairs and smaller bathroom on the lower floor.
